Formula One is back in the United States after missing out on the 2020 season because of the Covid-19 outbreak. We could see the excitement in the packed grandstands everywhere in the circuit. There were some very special guests also attending the race, such as Ben Stiller. Fans saw the Hollywood actor watching the Saturday qualifying from the garage of Ferrari.

Stiller is a massive fan of the sport and it is not the first time he has graced F1 with his presence. The Ferrari team took to social media to express their excitement about meeting Stiller.

You already know. Thanks for the visit, Ben Stiller,” wrote Ferrari, thanking the actor.

The Mercedes team also took to social media to share their experience of meeting the actor in the paddock. They wrote, “Toto: “Are you challenging me to a walk-off?”

Stiller had previously trolled Lewis Hamilton on social media and had asked him to slow down in a comedic sketch. Additionally, he challenged him to join his dodgeball team.

“Hey, Lewis Hamilton. Slow down for a second. You think Formula One is high octane? Try dodging balls thrown at your pretty, pretty face. Join my squad or you and your manicured boy beard will face the consequences,” said Stiller.

Charles Leclerc leads the Ferrari duo in Austin qualifying

As reported by Formula1.com, the Monegasque driver finished the qualifying session at P5 ahead of his teammate Carlos Sainz. But they both will move up a position for the race because of Bottas‘ penalty. Leclerc stated he was thrilled with his lap at COTA.

“In FP3, the first run went very, very well, and then in the second run of FP3 we tried something and I lost completely the confidence in the car and I was struggling a lot with the rear end of the car,” said Charles.

After out-qualifying both McLarens, Ferrari will look to have a good race day to erase the 7.5 point deficit in the Constructors standings.
