If driving at 200mph doesn’t scare Lewis Hamilton, talking to a girl should comparatively be an easy task for the Knight. Right? Well, in a seven-year-old interview with IWC Watches, Sir Lewis revealed an instance that not many of his fans would believe.

From winning multiple championships to breaking the record for most wins in F1, Lewis Hamilton has almost achieved it all. The Mercedes and F1 legend is perhaps the Greatest driver who rose to every occasion. However, like many guys out there, he at one point in time rued the missed opportunity to ask out a girl.

The Briton previously dated the Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger on and off for around 7 years. The pair finally called it quits in 2015.

In an interview with IWC watches in 2015, the then 3-time world champion was asked what would he do if he could turn back time. Lewis Hamilton replied, “Probably ask a girl out that I didn’t ask out maybe”.

The host was flabbergasted by Lewis’ response. He wanted to ask Lewis if the girl knew he wanted to ask her out. However, due to the rapid-fire round, he continued with the other questions in order to finish the game.

Sadly, we are not certain who this mystery girl is who Lewis talked about in the #IWCTalksTo interview.

Lewis was also rumored to be dating British pop-star Rita Ora after his breakup with Scherzinger. However, neither of them confirmed their relationship publicly.

Why did Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger split?

Fans were shocked to learn about the split of the Mercedes star and Nicole Scherzinger. The duo was one of the power couples of the F1 paddock. Lewis Hamilton hinted in the past as to why the couple decided to part ways.

Hamilton commented, “It may be slightly different in that we are traveling as much as we are, and you are just away for crazy amounts of time.”

He also added, “So that’s probably an additional weight that makes it really, really tough to hold down a good relationship, and if things aren’t quite perfect.”

Since their split, Lewis has not dated anyone publicly.
