Of course, he will need a period of adjustment, like every driver when he changes racing teams,” Hulkenberg said. “He will have to get into the groove, both in the car and in the team.

But he will master this. In the end, every car reacts critically at the limit. And it is our job as drivers to find the absolute limit and deal with it.”

Hulkenberg was part of Racing Point over three race weekends this season. Hence, he is aware of the car’s characteristics and is consequently assured that it will suit Vettel.

Hulkenberg confident Sebastian Vettel – Aston Martin switch will be successful

The Racing Point’s reserve driver pointed out the fact that the ‘Pink Panthers’ have always punched above their weight. Hence, with an experienced driver like Vettel under their sleeve, Racing Point’s future will be a success.

Lawrence Stroll bought Force India back in 2018 and the team were in a revamping stage through the 2019 season. However, Racing Point returned stronger than expected for 2020, and have already secured two podiums with three more races to go.

An English team with a long history, which has never been a top team, but which has often, even when I was there, fought above its weight class with little means,” Hulkenberg said.

And which now wants to make a difference with a financially strong, serious new owner. I’m sure that Sebastian will do his part to contribute to the success.

Over the last couple of race weekends, Vettel has looked very strong, with a stunning podium in Turkey. Such results will have definitely put up a smile on the entire Racing Point crew. So, will the German carry his current form to Racing Point/Aston Martin, and return to the winning ways?
