Sebastian Vettel is now in his 6th season at Ferrari. He came to the Maranello-based outfit as a 4-time world champion aiming to add some more titles to his name.
However, things never quite worked out for him. His relationship with Ferrari kept going downhill and it culminated in him being unceremoniously dumped for the 2021 season.

“But of course, as I said I was inspired by him and still am inspired by him because I think he is the best there ever was.
“I was hoping to take some championships away from Lewis so that Michael’s record stands a bit longer. Now we are a bit out of striking distance to try and block him.

“But I wanted this to work out for myself more than for Michael, you see what I mean? It’s is a shame it didn’t work out, but I also think I’m old enough and matured enough to know why and see the reasons and move on.”
While the German’s future still remains uncertain, he has been heavily linked with a move to Aston Martin next year. He revealed that he held “loose talks” with the Silverstone-based team but nothing concrete has been discussed yet.
However, at the moment, Vettel will be fully focused on the next race and the season ahead, considering the compact schedule. He’ll be looking to bounce back after two disappointing races in Austria.
