The dog-eat-dog nature of Formula 1 makes it a rare feat to see close relations between two drivers. Given that these are the top 20 drivers of the world with the same aim of being the best, it is no surprise. The 2016 rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg is a prime example of this.

After Rosberg retired, Mercedes introduced a fresh face to the team by hiring Valtteri Bottas. The Finn paired up with Lewis Hamilton to make the driver lineup at the German racing stable. The duo shared a great bond, which translated into astounding success for the team.

In the five years of being teammates (2017-2021), the two of them together won 5 Constructor’s Titles for the team. The Brit won four world titles, while the Finn became a 10-time Grand Prix winner. Notably, Hamilton acclaimed Bottas as his ‘Best teammate’ last year.

Today, they wear different race suits on track and are rivals racing one another. Nevertheless, the bond shared by them remains the same as when they wore the same uniform. The Briton showed this by appreciating Bottas in his recent social media post.

With a one-week gap before the next race, all drivers disconnect before going racing in France. The Alfa Romeo driver celebrated his time off in Monaco and posted a video featuring a bounce in his step.

The dance moves caught Hamilton’s attention, and he was quick to encourage his friend as he commented, “Never stop dancing mate.” Despite racing wheel to wheel this season, it is great to see the bromance continue between the two.

In March 2022, the Brit shared a wholesome video on his socials. It featured him grooving around with his brother, Nicolas Hamilton, on his birthday. The Hamilton-duo took the club by storm with dance moves.
