Max Verstappen won the United States Grand Prix, but it was former Red Bull teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, who stole the show with his Texas outfit and accent over the weekend.

While all the other drivers were in their team kits as they drove around the bus, the Australian was wearing a jersey with a cowboy hat and boots. Ricciardo turned things up a notch by answering the questions with a Texan accent.

The eight-time Grand Prix winner is known for his personality around the F1 paddock. This time in Austin, he turned up with an eye-catching outfit and an accent that was loved by the F1 community.

Being asked about his outfit before the race, Ricciardo replied, “Absolutely, hell the crowd.”

He soon broke character, and said, “I’ll see if I got it.”

The McLaren driver started the race in sixth place, aiming to secure good points for the Woking-based team. As the checkered flag brought the race to a close, Ricciardo found himself in fifth place, earning ten points in the process.

Up next is the Mexican Grand Prix, where the Australian will hope to bring better results, and more points for his papaya team. With five races remaining till the end of the season, Daniel hopes to make the most out of it and aims to end his first season with McLaren on a high.
