Hamilton has paid tribute to the man who is known to be the first man of ethnic minority in the UK to have a rose named after him. The John Ystumllyn Rose is a yellow hybrid tea rose that is now named after the historic figure.

However, the outfit was not the only reference to Ystumllyn. The last picture in the Instagram post showcases a picture of John Ystumllyn. While this is a painting instead of a picture, it’s the only picture of his that is known, as there were no cameras in the 1700s.
