I don’t really have a lot to say about it,” Hamilton said in a post-race press conference when asked to explain his Twitter post.

“I have tried to be really respectful over the years and whenever you ask me who’s the better driver for me, I’ve always tried to give praise.”

But this time, it’s interesting to see the comments that are made but it doesn’t really matter, so that’s why I just kinda out a little thumbs up,” concluded the seven-time world champion.

Fernando Alonso decided to make peace with Lewis Hamilton

Alonso said in an interview during the Mexican Grand Prix race weekend that Hamilton had to fight his teammates for the titles. This wasn’t taken well by the former McLaren driver as he brought a lethal weapon to fend if the criticisms.

The Briton posted a photo of him and Alonso from their McLaren days, where he is standing in P1 at the 2007 United States GP podium and Alonso is standing P2, to prove his capabilities. However, when things got escalated, the Alpine driver decided to calm things down with a Twitter post. Alonso stated that all the titles are worthy and they demand to be celebrated.
