With the regulation overhaul and the strides that Ferrari had made, most thought the 2022 championship battle would’ve been more thrilling than 2021’s with Charles Leclerc at the helm of Ferrari’s championship bid. However, it was a one-horse race to the end. After settling the Driver’s championship in Japan, Red Bull won the Constructors’ championship at the 2022 US Grand Prix.
Dominant is an understatement when describing Verstappen’s 2022 season. But are we on the verge of witnessing another dynasty? Schumacher did it, Vettel did it and so did Hamilton. Charles Leclerc, however, is in no mood to let Verstappen run away with any more championships.

Speaking after the race, he was asked whether we had entered into an era of Verstappen dominance. He said; “I hope not. I’ll do everything for it to not happen.”
He went on to explain why he was so confident that he was the one to stop history from repeating itself. He said, “I am confident because I know how hard we are working. I am confident that we are working in the right direction.”
Even though this year the Scuderia and Leclerc could not mount a challenge to dethrone the Bulls and Verstappen, the Monegasque has already formulated a plan to put an end to Red Bull’s streak of championship triumphs.
