F1 is a very demanding sport. Naturally, you need to find activities that help you relax and ease off the pressure. For instance, Michael Schumacher was a keen poker player. While many believe it to be a game of luck, poker requires intense focus and helps to keep your emotions in check. Similarly, Lewis Hamilton is known for his adventurous activities off the track like sky diving and surfing to keep himself relaxed. However, Lewis also likes to watch TV series in his spare time, with Game of Thrones being one of his favorites.

 

In an old Instagram story posted by the 7-time World Champion, he could not contain his excitement as Game Of Thrones released its final season. According to reports, Sir Lewis Hamilton started binge-watching the entire series from the beginning before the much anticipated final season.

The Brit said, “Guys, I think I’m ill. I’m so addicted to Game of Thrones. It’s now like I can’t wait for my day to finish so I can go home and watch it before I go to bed, It’s changed my life.” He further wrote, “It’s the greatest thing ever. To all the cast and all crew that made Game of Thrones…. I just want to say a big thank you. Appreciate you guys.”

The Mercedes driver also revealed his favorite character on the show through his Instagram story. The ‘mother of dragons’ – Daenerys Targaryen portrayed by Emilia Clarke.

“I’m in love, she’s the baddest, a bad ting ya kno. Every man needs a strong independent women with dragons.”

Hamilton’s love for Daenerys knows no bounds, and the Brit would be hoping to sit on the ‘Iron Throne’ at the end of the season.

Hamilton also realizes the importance of his profile and works with many charities to support causes that are close to him. Hamilton also launched the Mission 44 foundation, which helps to bring more people from ethically diverse backgrounds into motorsport. Furthermore, he donated £20 million to support under-represented youths in Britain.
