Mercedes F1 Domination Can Last Longer Warns Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton wins his 93rd race at Imola as he is on course to extend his world record. Hamilton got a slow start but with a sprinkle of safety car luck, he managed to take the lead and finish P1.

Meanwhile, Mercedes won their seventh consecutive constructors championship. They are well on their way to go down as the most successful constructors in the history of the sport.

In a post-race show, Lewis Hamilton explained the amount of hard work the team has put in over the year. He was all praises for the team on track and back at the factory.

Lewis believes that Mercedes can continue to dominate in the future. he said, “We can continue for a long time if we wanted to. There will be multiple obstacles ahead, but I am definitely looking forward to that.”

Lewis  Hamilton was visibly proud of the feat achieved by Mercedes. “It is such a privilege to be a part of the team and work with these guys”, he said.

Hamilton explained how the team, their support and their environment has enabled him to live to his full potential.

Hamilton further clarified that he joined the team with utmost faith, it was not a lucky pick. He explained, “The guys have really worked hard to figure out where we wanted to go.”

“No shortcuts were taken and we continue to do this every year and continue to do it with the same approach”, he added.

Mercedes has locked in their seventh constructors championship with yet another 1-2 finish at the Imola GP. The team will now be looking forward to ensuring that both their drivers finish at the top of the table.

Lewis Hamilton would have enjoyed his first race at Imola. Although the champion mentioned that overtaking will be difficult at Imola, he pushed really hard. In the end, he clocked in some great laps.

He will be looking forward to the next race weekend at the Turkish Grand Prix. Moreover, he will be hoping to finish strong in the final leg of this season.
