In an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports earlier this year, Atharva Desai, the rising motorsports star, had revealed his plans or how he envisions his schedule to look in 2022. The young driver had claimed that he will try to give GP three racing a go along with doing Formula 3 regionals.
“I’m planning to do GP three, and do a few races over there, get very competitive with it. And on top of that, when I come back to the US, I’ll be doing Formula 3 regionals, Sohar championship, so that’s my schedule laid out for just a few next few months,” he said.

And now it seems like the plans that he had described are coming to fruition. Because the young racecar driver of Indian origin might just be heading to the FIA accredited Formula Regionals India Championship.
Now, it has to be mentioned that there isn’t any official confirmation from his team yet, but should things work the way they’re supposed to, Desai could be racing in the FIA Formula Regionals in India from November 1st till December 10th at Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Coimbatore.
