Why Wolff wrecked his headset

This part is particularly for the readers who missed out on the Saudi Arabian GP. On lap 38, Verstappen defended a bit too hard against a surging Hamilton, forcing both off the track. Hence, race director, Michael Masi, demanded that the Dutchman lose his lead to Hamilton.

But, a massive miscommunication led to an avoidable incident, as Hamilton crashed into the back of Verstappen’s Red Bull, damaging his front wing. Wolff, who was watching this ugly moment unfold right in front of his eyes, had to let out the frustration that was accumulating inside of him.

And well, this is where a Bose headset ended up as the victim. Wolff smashed the headset onto the table in front of him, and the headset was into two. What’s funny is that this incident took place over what was only the penultimate race.
