During the course of the 2021 season, multiple teams in Formula One have brought a one-off livery to a Grand Prix weekend. McLaren did it in Monaco, and Red Bull recently did it in Turkey. And with their latest social media post, fans are wondering if the famous Italian team, Ferrari are planning to do the same.

The Scuderia teased on Twitter about possibly getting a new one-off livery this season. Last season in Mugello, the Italian team had a burgundy livery, and fans are wondering if they are expecting to see something similar this year as well.

The Formula One community always loves it when a team brings a one-off livery to a Grand Prix. Recently, Red Bull brought a white livery to the Turkish Grand Prix to honor Honda. Now that the Italian team has teased a new livery, fans are waiting in anticipation to know what it is.

Ferrari wrote on Twitter, “Mumble, mumble, How can I tell him? Stay tuned.”

The Tifosi can’t wait to see what Ferrari has in store for them, with such a high benchmark left from last season’s one-off livery, they hope the Italian team steps up their livery game this season as well.

A tough battle with McLaren this season

There is no doubt that the most attractive battle this season is between Red Bull and Mercedes. However, another great battle between teams in the constructor’s championship is the one with McLaren and Ferrari.

The two have been pushing each other to the limit for third place in the standings. As of now, the Woking-based team occupies the third position in the standings, while the Italian sits in fourth place.

However, there is only a 7.5 point gap between the two. With the upcoming United States Grand Prix, Ferrari would hope to bridge the gap while McLaren will aim to extend their lead and hold on to third place in the championship.
