F1 is a traveling circus. And wherever drivers and teams go, their families and partners tend to follow. So when Charles Leclerc and his long-time girlfriend Charlotte Sine – who had become a paddock regular; decided to call it quits, fans were left devastated. A relationship that lasted three years ended when both of them announced their split last December via a common Instagram story. It was a relationship that people thought would last. Regardless, months later when Leclerc’s rumored GF is making headlines, many are stunned to see the uncanny resemblances with Charlotte.

Charles perhaps moved on quickly from the heartbreak. Although his new girlfriend Alexandra Saint Mleux appearing at the Monaco GP last month may cause some interesting theories. One look at Leclerc with Alex led fans to change their perception of him from “Amazing, Eye-Candy Boyfriend” to “Red Flag Boyfriend.” Not only were fans furious, but they also got confused. Because for a second, everyone thought he was back together with Charlotte. Why? Because Alex’s looks are pretty similar to Charlotte’s!

A lot of fans took to Twitter to showcase the similarities between the two, but many others showed their apprehension toward comparing them. The Monaco GP was Charles and Alex’s first public outing together and was Alex’s first time in the paddock.

Given that Charlotte and Charles left things on a friendly note, she made it a point to come for the race and was stationed in the Ferrari garage alongside Alex. There seemed to be no animosity between the two, but that didn’t stop people from comparing them. 

Recently, a Twitter user (@SCUDERIAFEMBOY) posted a couple of photos of Charlotte and Charles together with the caption, “wow just wow.” While these pictures were a blast from the past, they triggered the confusion further. Considering how similar they look, fans replied to the tweet with the same confusion.

Is that Charlotte or Alex with Charles Leclerc?

The pictures posted by the Twitter user showed Charles and Charlotte in a cozy embrace, with both their faces only partially seen. And the tweet had fans going into a frenzy, trying to figure out if that is Charlotte or Alex in the picture. 

One fan asked: “is this alex or charlotte tho.”

Most of the comments were about fans getting confused and debating who it really is, along the lines of this comment: “This is Charlotte or Alex?! WELP”

One fan finally confirmed that the pictures, in fact, feature Charlotte: “guys it’s charlotte 💀💀”

One commenter asked when the pictures were from, and another fan replied, “like three years ago,” further confirming that the tweet features Charlotte and not Alex.
