After watching the entire grid assemble at Sebastian Vettel’s farewell dinner, fans now want to see all the rival team bosses under the same roof. But isn’t it hard to imagine what the scenes would be like if the team bosses, who are always ready to take sarcastic digs at one another, sit together for a meal? Don’t be shocked if we tell you, it happened once. Last year, the Mercedes supremo Toto Wolff exposed how a team dinner led to nasty relationships among team bosses.

Toto Wolff’s memory might be fresh from the dinner that he organized last year. The Mercedes supremo revealed what happened when he invited his fellow team bosses to dinner in the past. “They all started fighting with each other, so it was pretty unpleasant,” said the Wolff.
Recently, Christian Horner was asked at a Q&A during a PokerStars charity event at Red Bull’s Milton Keynes base, if the team principal would like to sit together for a meal. Horner replied, “Unfortunately, the same amount of love isn’t shared around the team principals, as the drivers.”
Christian Horner likes to take a dig at Toto Wolff whenever he is presented with an opportunity. The fans rejoice the times when the team principals have a go at each other. Recently, the Red Bull team principal got his to have a go at Toto Wolff while presenting the Rookie of the Year award at the Autosports awards.
Christian Horner once took a cheeky dig at Toto Wolff
Red Bull’s team principal believes that it’s very easy to tease the Mercedes supremo. Looking at the last year’s ferocious battle between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, we might think that the battle stayed between the motorists, but things might have escalated to their team principals.

As in a conversation with Sky Sports responding to a previous comment made by Wolff about Horner that he’s a windbag who just wants to be on camera, Horner said, “It’s not personal in any way Toto is Toto. He’s done a phenomenal job with Mercedes. It’s very easy to pull his chain, and you can see it.”

He added, “Sometimes it affects him. So of course, when you’re competing, and last year was so intense and of course it was the first time he’d ever been in that situation, it’s always interesting to see how people react. When they’re smashing headphones and so on, you can see that you got to them.”

The season ended with a lot of bruises for Toto Wolff. After Winning consecutive 8 constructor championships, the Mercedes supremo won’t be taking this year’s defeat lightly and will attack the Austrian outfits with all his armory next season.
