Italian Grand Prix: How Many F1 Fans Will Be There in Attendance at Monza?

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic fans couldn’t attend a Grand Prix weekend in full capacity. However, with regulations being eased for those who have been vaccinated and tested negative for the Covid, those spectators are in for a treat for the Italian Grand Prix.

Last season saw the Italian Grand Prix empty due to the strict Covid rules. But after a year, those fans will be back. However, only a small percentage will be allowed to witness the action on Monza this upcoming weekend.

Fans to be back for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza

The race at Monza is one of the most exciting races on the Formula One calendar. The atmosphere created by the Tifosi is surreal. However, they weren’t present supporting Ferrari last year.

Fans turned up in full force at Zandvoort for the Dutch GP and Max Verstappen made sure to draw strength from the home-field advantage.

But, this year they will be back in the Grand Stands. Monza reportedly can host over a million fans for the Grand Prix weekend. But, taking into consideration the Covid rules, only 50% will be allowed into the grandstands, while general admission won’t be granted. (approx. 59,430 fans)

What should the fans expect the weather to be for the Italian GP?

After having a dry race last weekend at Zandvoort, fans are eagerly waiting to know, whether there will be showers or sunshine at Monza? The forecast is said to be sunny throughout the race, with zero percentage for precipitation, humidity at 40%, winds reaching a speed of 6 mph & a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius.

The weather is said to be the same as the Italian Grand Prix heads into its closing stages as well. Humidity at 44%, winds at 6 mph, while there will be zero chances of rain at Monza, and the temperature falling down to 26 degrees Celsius.
