The 24-year-old Charles Leclerc is undoubtedly having the best season of his career. He won two of the three races this season and is dominating the 2022 season. So, it was only natural that the Italian media was seen singing praises for the Ferrari man.

Charles Leclerc has showcased phenomenal form since the pre-season testing. He then won the first race in Bahrain and then he was in lead for the most part of the Saudi Arabia GP. However, Leclerc eventually finished second in Jeddah. However, the Monegasque driver dominated the Australian GP, from starting the race from pole to winning it with the fastest lap.

The driver not only impressed his Italian team but also the Italian media.

Leclerc is on the front page of various different Italian media. Like Gazzetta wrote about his Melbourne achievement with the title, “Flying Prince”. Meanwhile, the other big-name Italian media like Tutto sport and Corriere are also writing about the Monegasque driver with titles, “Charles The Great” and “Australia, Leclerc dominates”, respectively.

Charles Leclerc impresses Mattia Binotto

The 24-year-old driver came from the Maranello Academy. So, the Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto saw the Monegasque driver grow up from a young kid to a good F1 driver. The team principal is happy to see Leclerc’s phenomenal run in the 2022 season. Binotto further hopes Charles to keep growing and keep his magnificent form throughout the ongoing season.

“Yes, this is the best Charles Leclerc I’ve ever seen. He already had a lot of talent and is continuing to grow. For the ability to concentrate on race weekends, for maturity, for the ability to fine-tune the car, for working with engineers, for maturity and tire management.” The Ferrari boss reported, “The challenge will be to stay at these levels for the remaining twenty races, but I know he will give it all.”

Charles Leclerc is comfortably sitting on the top of the 2022 drivers’ standings with 71 points in the bag. He also helped his team take the lead in the constructor’s table with 104 points. Looking at the impressive performance of the Maranello base this season, fans speculate Ferrari will revive their glory days this season and win both titles.
