Lewis Hamilton is not easy and it’s getting more obvious by the day. The man who is used to standing at the highest place on the podium is now found far away. The 7-time world champion is having a hard time coping with the W15. While George Russell has been adjusting to the car quite well so far, that has started to fall off too.

However, seeing Lewis Hamilton in the midfield cannot be a good experience for anybody, and knowing his skills behind the wheel is certainly not where he belongs. And now, he has come forth to address the elephant in the room which is the inconsistency from Mercedes being able to provide a competitive car. Furious at the situation, this is what the Briton World Champion had to say.

Three years of bad cars for Lewis Hamilton

Ever since Red Bull has taken the lead, Mercedes has been falling off quite hard. They haven’t seen a championship in 3 years and the 4th one looks extremely difficult. This time the challenge is not only to beat Red Bull, but to defeat McLaren and Ferrari before getting there. With Aston Martin also creeping in to push Mercedes lower on the grid, Hamilton expresses his frustration after the race and says, It’s three years in a row, similar feeling… But then there’s these spikes of ‘Ah, it could be good’, like this morning, but then it kind of disappears.”

Suggesting a possible fix for the situation he said, “If we can work out a way of finding that goodness in the car and making it more consistent and holding onto that, then we can be more competitive.” But to be honest, even if that were to happen and the W15 is competitive again, Ferrari and McLaren have a good car this year which has already put them in a points lead.

Maybe moving to Ferrari might have been the best decision Lewis Hamilton has made since he stopped winning titles. Especially considering all the benefits the deal comes with. This might be a turning point for the 7-time world champion, but will Ferrari be the redemption Hamilton needs?

Will Ferrari fix all of Lewis Hamilton’s problems?

While the future remains uncertain, Ferrari is at a better plan than Mercedes currently. The team has been performing well and has won podiums in both races so far. With Red Bull being their only competitor at the moment, Ferrari has established dominance over Mercedes like they did in 2022. But unlike that year, Ferrari is in a huge lead with 49 points compared to the 26 that the Silver Arrows have managed.

Ferrari currently has a better car and that itself solves most of Lewis Hamilton’s problems. The new team will be supportive of the Briton considering that they dropped half a billion on him to make this partnership work. While the car has been the main reason for Hamilton’s demise, it is unclear if that’s the only reason he has not been a competitor for the world champion. Ferrari will be providing him everything he needs, but if the driver has lost his Mojo there isn’t much that can be done.

The Prancing Horses currently have an advantage over Mercedes and with the way things look, it looks like it might continue until the 2026 regulations change. If Mercedes were to build a competitive car, it would have happened by now, but the 2022 budget cap has made it difficult for the team to perform. But 2025 will be a new year and the successor of the W15 might just be what they need to give them the edge, but Hamilton will not be around to see that.

Ferrari is doing well and hopefully replacing Carlos Sainz Jr was not a mistake, but one thing we believe is that Hamilton will do better at Maranello. Ferrari is on an ascending note right now while Mercedes is suffering its downfall, but will the Lewis Hamilton win with Ferrari? That’s something on everyone’s mind. We would like to hear your thoughts on whether the World Champion title will be in Hamilton’s reach in 2025. So you can let us know your answer in the comments below.
