It is important that he finishes the race in his home Grand Prix this season on Sunday. He should also think about winning in Monaco, as it is crucial for his championship bid in the 2022 season.

Heading into his home race, Charles has just lost the championship lead to his rival and world champion Max Verstappen. So he needs as many points as possible from the weekend to get his championship challenge back on track.
