The sixth race of the 2022 season ended in favor of Red Bull with a 1-2 finish. However, it could have been Sergio Perez instead of Max Verstappen on the top step of the podium. But team strategy and orders changed the outcome for the Red Bull duo.
Max Verstappen enjoyed a victory at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya despite the problems with the DRS. However, Checo kept George Russell in check when Max was struggling with his car. The Mexican could have even won the race, but his team later asked to swap places with Max.
