Millions across the world took to social media to wish Max Verstappen on his 24th birthday yesterday. While fans shared tweets and posts on social media, so did the Dutchman’s loved ones, among whom feature his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet.

The 32-year-old took to Instagram to share a post wishing the Red Bull driver and wrote a short message as well.

At the turn of the year, Verstappen and Piquet took their relationship public. The Dutchman did so by sharing a post on his social media, while his partner did the same the very next day. The Brazilian reporter is the daughter of former three-time F1 world champion, Nelson Piquet. While she didn’t ever race, she handles Formula E’s social media presence.

Yesterday, the 32-year-old shared a post wishing Verstappen on his big day. Along with a photo of the happy couple, she also had some kind words for her partner. She wrote, “Happy Birthday to the love of my life. I love everything about you, about us and I am beyond proud of you. I can’t wait for all that is to come.”

The Brazilian model is a common feature in the F1 paddock. She attended a majority of the Dutchman’s races this year, as he seeks his maiden F1 world title.
