Kimi Raikkonen Spotted Supporting His Daughter at Karting

Kimi Raikkonen is now spending his life away from the Formula One circuit after spending over 19 years in the sport. The Iceman is now busy grooming the next generation of Raikkonen.
The 2022 season is missing one of the F1 greats this season. Because the 2007 world champion left the sport after the 2021 season. The retired Iceman has transformed into a complete family man from an F1 driver.

Further, Kimi’s daughter, Rihanna, wants to follow in her father’s footsteps to become a driver. The young Rihanna is now going to the karting track. The Iceman accompanies his young daughter to karting and supports her to become the ‘Ice Queen’ in the future. Kimi’s wife, Minttu Raikkonen, took to Instagram to share the moment.

Kimi Raikkonen and his long career
Kimi Raikkonen had a successful career and achieved everything an F1 driver can ask for. The Finnish F1 driver lifted a world championship in 2007. Further, he bagged 21 wins and over 103 podiums throughout his long career.

Further, Kimi has been on many F1 teams in his career and some of those teams don’t compete anymore. Kimi started his F1 career back in 2001, driving for Sauber F1. The Swiss F1 team doesn’t exist with this name anymore, renaming themselves Alfa Romeo.

After spending a single season with Sauber, Kimi joined McLaren and spent five seasons with the British constructors. Later. Kimi joined the legendary Italian F1 giant, Ferrari, in 2007 and won his world championship that year too. Then Kimi stayed in Ferrari for two more seasons before going into Rallying for three seasons. However, the Iceman returned to F1 in 2012 and spent two seasons with Lotus F1.
Raikkonen returned to Ferrari in 2014 and drove alongside the two-time world champion, Fernando Alonso. But the Spaniard left in 2015 and four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel joined his friend Kimi in Ferrari. Then Kimi and Seb shared four seasons together in the Prancing Horses.

Kimi rejoined his first-team Sauber, now known as Alfa Romeo, on a two-year contract. The Finnish driver drove alongside the Italian driver, Antonio Giovinazzi. The Iceman continued driving even in 2021, but it would be his last dance in F1. After he retired from F1, Valtteri Bottas filled his shoes in Alfa Romeo while F1 rookie, Zhou Guanyu, took over Giovinazzi for the 2022 season.
