“Kind of Like George Clooney”: George Russell & Co Hilariously React to Bizarre F1 Edit

Mercedes driver George Russell is one of the most exciting drivers of the new generation. The Britton has been tipped as a future world champion and has all the ability to do so. However, there is still some time for that.

In the meantime, there has been a clip of Russell doing the rounds of the internet. The 24-year-old can be seen reacting to drivers with aging filters on them, making some hilarious comparisons in the process.

Does George Russell turn into George Clooney?

In a recent interview with ESPN, Mercedes F-1 driver, George Russell was presented with images of drivers on the grid. However, there was one twist. All the pictures were aged. Russell had a thing or two to say about the pictures.

The driver was, naturally, presented a picture of himself first. To which he had somewhat of a mixed reaction. The driver exclaimed, “Wowzer… I look the oldest of them all… I’m liking the grey hair”. He then added, “It’s kind of like George Clooney-esque isn’t it”.

However, Russell had a few complaints, “It’s looking good.. Although I’ve got more wrinkles than everyone else”. He had a few things to say about the other drivers as well, “Some of these are awful…Lance is not a good look”.

He was also shown a picture of Fernando Alonso to which he reacted, “He looks the same!”. Fellow F-1 driver Lando Norris was also presented with the images. The generally comic Norris gave his two cents on their appearances as well.

In the meantime, Russell would be focused and hoping for a good showing in Canada this weekend. The Britton currently sits P4 in the driver standings. He will be aiming for Charles Leclerc, who sits in P3 above him.
