The previous year, there was a lot going on in the F1 paddock. The season was chaotic, and we witnessed the team principals and the team drivers go through merry-go-rounds which generated some noise among the F1 community, and now that the team principal of Aston Martin believes Lance Stroll has the ability to surprise the paddock next season, the sport may start to reveal some of its fresh tales.

Due to a lack of pace and general consistency, the Canadian driver was unable to surpass his teammate Sebastian Vettel in the previous two seasons. While it would be incorrect to say that Vettel completely outclassed Stroll, his inability to consistently put forth great performances has emerged as a flaw. Given this, many believe Fernando Alonso will far exceed Stroll during the 2023 season. However, the team boss of the Silverstone squad, Mike Krack, showers huge praise for the 24-year- old’s ability to compete against the 4 times champion.

As reported by si.com, He said,” It’s important to remember that Lance has never really had a winning car in Formula 1. A car in which he can show what he’s capable of to really deliver his talent. It’s up to us to give him and Fernando that.”

He compared Stroll with the 4x champion and said, “When Sebastian joined the team, people were saying Lance had no chance, but Lance has performed incredibly well against a four-time World Champion they’ve been closely matched.

And now when the Canadian driver will face the biggest challenge of his life competing against Alonso, Krack said, “People are saying the same thing now that Fernando [Alonso] is joining the team, but let’s wait and see. Lance might just surprise a few people.”

The billionaire listed five crucial ingredients that go into creating a championship-winning team, “I always say you need five things to win: passion, leadership, and vision, which I bring; the best people surrounded by passion and vision; then it’s providing those people with the tools and the process in order to be world champions.
