Lando Norris Has $100,000 Richard Mille McLaren F1 Edition Watch Forcefully Snatched at Wembley

21-year-old Lando Norris was involved in an incident outside Wembley following the Euro 2020 final. According to McLaren’s official website, the young Brit was mugged after attending the final between England and Italy, which the former lost on penalties.

Norris uploaded an image on his Instagram account before leaving the stadium, and a Richard Mille watch was visible on his wrist. The watch is presumed to be a limited edition in the blue and orange colors of McLaren; the expected worth of the watch is understood to be around $100,000.

Several reports of violence emerged during the much-anticipated final, with fans without tickets attempted to enter the Wembley Stadium. As a result of the violence, 19 officials were injured; so far, 49 people have been arrested.

McLaren’s statement regarding Lando Norris

McLaren from their website confirms that Lando Norris had his watch robbed off him at Wembley Stadium last Sunday.

The statement reads, “McLaren Racing can confirm that Lando Norris was involved in an incident, after the Euro 2020 final match at Wembley, during which the watch he was wearing was taken.

“Thankfully, Lando was unharmed but he is understandably shaken. The team is supporting Lando and we are sure that racing fans will join us in wishing him all the best for the British Grand Prix this weekend.

“As this is now a police matter we cannot comment further,” it added.

Lando Norris is the only F1 driver in 2021 to have scored points in all nine Grand Prix so far this season. The young Brit claimed his third podium when he finished P3 last time out at the Austrian Grand Prix. Norris currently sits fourth in the Driver’s Championship just three points behind Red Bull’s Sergio Perez.
