The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is done and dusted and it was quite a dramatic race, to say the least. After the standing restart, Lewis Hamilton was behind Red Bull’s Sergio Perez, trying to overtake him for the lead. However, Hamilton overshot the turn due to brake failure and went off. While the incident was sad and disappointing for Lewis, McLaren’s Lando Norris had a hysterical reaction to him sliding off.

After qualifying in P6 and then being awarded a three-place penalty, Norris started the race in P9. However, he drove well and secured a P5 finish for the team, just a touch away from the podium.

Hamilton crossed the line in 15th place and failed to score a single point for himself and his team members from Brackley. He still holds second place in the driver’s standings behind arch-rival, Verstappen. Hamilton will like to learn from this mistake and come back stronger at the upcoming race in France.
