Lawrence Stroll Reveals Until How Long He Wants Sebastian Vettel to be Part of Aston Martin F1

Ever since Lawrence Stroll led the consortium that took over the Force India F1 team, he’s made a lot of efforts to make sure that his team never has to look back. The newly renamed Racing Point team, under the ownership of Lawrence Stroll, consolidated themselves as a strong top of the midfield team, who fight for podiums and even race wins and not merely points.

Come 2021, the team has been rechristened to Aston Martin as Lawrence Stroll has huge ambitions for the team. And the Canadian billionaire is hoping to have the support of Sebastian Vettel through the journey that he plans to take with his team.

Stroll Sr. has made it quite clear that he wants his team to advance to the very top of Formula One and fight for titles. He leaves no stone unturned – neither in terms of both the team nor the infrastructure being expanded continuously to make sure that Aston Martin have the best facilities and they don’t have to make any compromises.

One person who is set to play a major role in Lawrence’s plan is the four-time world champion, Sebastian Vettel. Lawrence hopes to have Vettel forever by his side.

In the recent “Beyond the Grid” podcast, Lawrence Stroll commented, “It was the perfect storm for Sebastian and for us, We have known each other for a while now and he understood my passion and my plans for the team.

Aston Martin is stepping towards newer goals that are different from Racing Point

Lawrence claimed that when the team was renamed Aston Martin, it wasn’t just merely a name change, but a change in the direction of the team, too. They had hired more than 250 new employees but it isn’t just the quantity, but also the quality that mattered.

Stroll Senior said, “The journey will not take a day, a week, or a year, it will take several years.”

He also made it quite clear that “Sebastian wanted to be part of this development. For Sebastian, the move to us was the beginning of this new journey that he wanted to tackle with us. And I hope that somehow he will be part of it forever.
