After finishing a below-average season at P7, and bidding a final farewell to the four-time champion Sebastian Vettel, Aston Martin is all set to invest in the future. The Silverstone-based team invited some of the media groups of F1 to its new factory, which was termed ‘game changer’ by the team boss.

Aston Martin has started planning for the future. The team is packed with Lance Stroll, son of team owner Lawrence S. Stroll, and a very experienced two-time champion, Fernando Alonso. Recently, Aston Martin opened doors for the F1 media groups to their new factory. The site covers four acres of land, an area for employees, and a wind tunnel. However, the site is still in progress and will be operational next year in May.

It seems the owner, Lawrence Stroll, will leave no stone unturned to make his team ready to win championships by the end of 2025 successful. The project is about a $240 million investment. To build a core team, it is important that all members are present under the same roof. The decision to create a new factory has delighted the team’s boss, Mike Krack.

The fact we will be able to talk to people without having to arrange meetings, it will facilitate the dialogue massively,” said Krack.

With the remote locations we currently have, you either need to pick up the phone or organize something. We should not forget that to bring stuff from A to B, it will be massively different, massively easier. So from that point of view, I fully agree on using the name ‘game changer’ for team dynamics and logistics.”

Lawrence Stroll has been with the team through all the thicks and thins, and now the billionaire is not even shy to put in a humongous amount into the team. He believes that the team has high potential and can win many races in the future.

It would mean more. Because of my association, now an owner of Aston Martin. I have no doubt we will win many races. I’m looking forward for that day to come.”

When further asked, “What would it mean to you to win the world title?” Stroll replied, “I think it would mean as much to me as it would maybe a little more to me, I was gonna say, than anybody else who owns the team because of the association that I have with the brand of having both the road car company and the Formula One team.”
