Japanese engine manufacturer Honda has played a crucial role in the history of Formula One. Sadly, after the dramatic 2021 season, where they helped Red Bull win the drivers’ championship, Honda will part ways with the constructor. Interestingly, F1 commentator Martin Brundle feels that the Japanese engine manufacturer will return to the sport.

However, Brundle is optimistic and feels they could return to F1 with another team. Speaking to Sky Sports as quoted by GPBlog, he said, “Red Bull have still been very generous and wanting to maintain a relationship with Honda in the transition. They’ll come back, and we hope that the Volkswagen Group, Audi will join. Formula 1 is stratospheric at the moment, so they can always make a decision to come back.”
