Never lie to your lawyer and doctor. We have all come across this advice in our lives. However, the world of Formula 1 is unlike any other and gets an extension in this advice. The advice in the world of F1 also includes your engineers and team boss. Every driver honestly, and sometimes brutally conveys, the truth about the car and its condition. A lie detector test tells us Lewis Hamilton is following that advice to the T. However, the lie detector test also hilariously revealed Hamilton is a “kiss a*s”.

Hamilton recently took part in a lie detector test carried out on the Sky Sports F1’s YouTube channel. As all lie detector tests go, the Mercedes man had an interviewer and a lie detector expert. The interviewer briefed Hamilton how a nod equals truth and a shake equals false.

After the briefing, the interviewer asked Hamilton some basic questions like his name, age, and place of birth. The Brit was clearly nervous as the expert shook his head when Hamilton confidently replied he is not nervous.

Following up after the basic questions, the interviewer asked if the Brit has ever lied to his trackside engineer Bono. Hamilton replied honestly and said no.

The follow-up question was similar but had the boss, Toto Wolff, in question. Hamilton passed that test as well by replying honestly that he has never lied to the Austrian. However, this revelation proved the interviewer to say, “Fair enough, you never lied to the boss. You’re a right kiss a*s, that’s good to know.”
