F1 journalist Peter Windsor in a video had explained how the F1 world champion is like the father figure in the paddock. Rising up the ranks without significant backup is something very rare these days. But Hamilton did it all on his own with his father Anthony beside him. Over the years, Hamilton has given us thousands of memories to cherish. It all started in his rookie season when he gave his teammate and two-time champion Alonso a run for his money as he lost the championship by just a point. Then came his first championship the very next year. He then followed it up with the dominant run from 2014 to 2020, where he won 6 more championships. And who can forget the 2021 battle with Max Verstappen, arguably the best F1 season in the last decade?

And even though 2022 and 2023 didn’t go as planned, Hamilton has shown his resilience and is keen on winning the 8th title. Now let us see how fans celebrated the legendary racer’s birthday.

“Thank you for all the memories”: McLaren, Mercedes and fans come together to wish Lewis Hamilton

As the Mercedes driver turned 39, many across the globe wished him a Happy Birthday. This included his current team Mercedes but also his former team where he won his first championship, McLaren, as well. What’s surprising is that McLaren wished the champ before Mercedes did on social media.

It was then the fans’ chance to wish Lewis Hamilton happy birthday as they did it in style, referring to the Briton as the GOAT, 7X champ, and Sir.
