Defending Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton says he discovers ongoing remarks made by rival Max Verstappen “funny” and “a sign of weakness”.

“This is my eighth year at the team. The buzz is the same every year. Everyone couldn’t be more excited, they couldn’t be more enthusiastic or more driven.
“And I’d say probably the most impressive thing is that [after] we’ve had the success, it could be quite easy for them to be laid back today.”
