As Steiner mentioned, the young German driver would not be taking part in the main race on Sunday. Hopefully, we’d see Schumacher back on the track in a couple of weeks’ time when F1 returns to Australia.

But his crash is a reminder of how dangerous the Jeddah international circuit is. F1 world champion Max Verstappen mentioned he does not like the layout of the track as it has twisty straights which are bad for visibility and dangerous.

He revealed that he does not understand why the straights at the track are not straight. It would be interesting to see if there are some changes made to the track layout for the next time. Let’s hope the track becomes safer for the drivers.
