The man of many talents, Lewis Hamilton is often overlooked for his other skills as all that sticks with fans is his racing. The extremely quick 39-year-old has many interests ranging from fashion to dog-rescuing and music. One lesser-known fact about the Briton is that he is a musician too who operates under the moniker XNDA.

He has already released music in the past and, as per his recent interview with GQ Sports, another exciting new musical endeavor might be happening soon. And, as expected, fans have already started asking for updates on XNDA’s next release!

What is next for XNDA?

During the GQ Sports interview, Lewis Hamilton answered questions about him anonymously on the internet. One of the questions he comes across is, “We want to know when you’re going to be releasing some music?” Taken aback by the question, Hamilton replied, “Yeah, geez. I’ve done music for such a long time. I think I started doing music when I was, like, 16. Properly record my first song till I was about 21.”

He added, “But I have some new stuff so we will see.” This has many fans excited to see what the 7-time world champion has been creating in his time away from the race track. Lewis Hamilton did not stop there, though. He went ahead to describe his setup at home, saying, “One of my bedrooms at home. I have set up with some really great speakers. So, I have my own little setup and I just record myself. When I’m in LA more often than not we go to a studio.”

Continuing on that, Hamilton spoke about a jam he did by bringing in some friends together and also revealed the progress on his new musical project, saying, “But recently we rented a house in December and did this whole writing camp and I had a whole group of people with me that massively talented individuals and we had three rooms and I was bouncing between each room and so I did that and when I was in Jamaica I was doing music every day. I’ve got some new stuff. I need to finish it, put it together, and then maybe I’ll share it with you.”

Charles Leclerc talks about a collaboration with XNDA

After the news of Lewis Hamilton replacing Carlos Sainz in Ferrari, Will Buxton interviewed the teammate, Charles Leclerc. During the interview, he asked Leclerc if their fans can expect a duet between him and Lewis Hamilton. The Monogasque driver was puzzled by the question as it caught him off guard and even took a second before replying.

Saying, “If it’s what everybody wants to know, then I’m not sure, to be honest. I haven’t spoken much about music with Lewis yet.” He mentioned that the two had discussed music last year and the Mercedes Champion shared his love for it with Leclerc. Ultimately, Leclerc ended the answer saying that he would speak to Hamilton about a potential collaboration next year. Now, that’s good news, isn’t it?
