Lewis Hamilton is a man of style who knows how to stay updated on everything and go on adventures that anyone in Formula 1 rarely ever does. To prepare for the season, celebrate his birthday, or celebrate the summer break, the Mercedes driver always picks the most incredible things to do.

This time, on his 38th birthday, the driver decided to celebrate it in Antarctica while preparing for the 2023 season and the team’s car launch next month. If not considering the celebration on the sides, surely it’s a tough environment to prepare in, which he described as ‘the most beautiful place I’ve ever been,’ giving a hard time to Rocky’s training.

The grand celebration of Hamilton’s birthday had the snowboarding legend Shaun White and actor Jared Leto. Following it was the driver’s 11-kilometer run in the chilly weather of the south pole. The driver posted several photos and videos on his social media accounts of his visit, in one of which he runs into penguins and a sea lion!

In a video captioned, “11km run in Antarctica, best run ever when you run past penguins and seals.” Hamilton can be heard saying, as quoted by talkSPORT, “Out for a run here.” Showing what he runs into, he says, “Penguins! It’s a beautiful storm, guys.”

The British driver was also spotted skiing alongside his friends. On his birthday, while he was away, several celebrity friends wished him.

Lewis Hamilton stays true to his values

Lewis Hamilton is a well-known advocate for animal rights and claims to be following a plant-based diet. And this trip to Antarctica is a perfect example of how he balances his personal pursuits with his efforts to make a positive impact on the world.

Hamilton used the opportunity to raise awareness around social and environmental issues by posting a photo of an old whaling facility no longer in use. He captioned it, “An old whaling facility where they killed whales and stored their oil in these tanks. Thankful it’s no longer done here!”

As he gears up for the new season, where he and Mercedes look to get back to winning ways, Hamilton’s cold weather training in Antarctica may come in handy while many of his rivals take to warmer climates to prepare for the season.
