Lewis Hamilton is quite a music enthusiast and frequently updates his fan on what he is listening to. He recently posted another hip-hop song that he’s vibing to on his Instagram. Amid his busy schedule at the Brazilian GP, the 7x champ plugged into Drake and 21 Savage’s internet-breaking album.

Lewis often shares his music queue with his fans with artists featuring Kanye West, Stormzy, Fatboy Slim, and many more. The musical enthusiast has even curated playlists that he has shared with his fans.

Regardless, with the amount of hype Her Loss has been garnering, especially with Rich Flex breaking the charts- it’s no surprise Hamilton needed something a little upbeat to kickstart his Brazilian GP weekend.

Lewis recently posted a screenshot of him listening to Drake’s Rich Flex on his Instagram. Clearly enjoying the album dropped by the Canadian icon, Hamilton’s post may have flown under the radar- but fans did have a thing or two to say about his choice.

While others were just glad to share the same music taste as the legend himself.

One fan even worried for the already downtrodden Mercedes man- who could have gotten himself the “Drake Curse”. For the uninitiated, ‘Drake Curse‘ is a pop culture meme that follows the downfall of athletes that interact with the Canadian rapper.

Others found a reason to troll Russell- putting him in 21 savage’s shoes.

Lewis Hamilton yet again found himself on the wrong side of luck in the Brazilian GP qualifying. But he recovered in the Sprint and will start the Sunday race from P2.

The Friday qualifying was a chaotic affair throughout. With the track dry at some spots and damp in others, the Q1 saw every car start on intermediate tires. AlphaTauri was the first to realize that softs were the best tire compound to go with. The gamble paid off as Pierre Gasly set the best timing soon after the tire change. Following suit, every driver came in for the tire change and saw their timings improve significantly.

Things started going to normal in Q2 as the track dried up. Max Verstappen set the fastest lap of the session as Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc came in 2nd and 3rd, respectively. The drama was however left for the last.

As Q3 started and the track was still dry, Haas’ Kevin Magnussen went out to set the fastest timing. As Mercedes’ George Russell was hoping to do the same, he spun and beached his car into the gravel. The incident saw the session being red-flagged. The timings until then eventually became final as the downpour resumed and no driver could match Magnussen’s lap.
