In the last 16 years, Hamilton has put himself at the very top of F1 and made his case for the greatest of all time. The stats in the wake of his seven champion titles are incredible, however, Hamilton is not a stats guy. The upcoming French GP will be the 300th Grand Prix of Hamilton’s career. Although 300 Grands Prix worth of experience is a gold mine for anyone. And when one interviewer asked what advice he would give his younger self, the Brit had an elaborate reply. Hamilton said, “Have a deep conversation, probably.”

“I think naturally when you’re a little bit younger, you feel like you’re going to live forever and that you’ve got all the time in the world. And I would just say time is precious so just maximise every moment you get with family with friends, create memories, that’s the most important thing. And don’t stress too much,” he added.

“We’re constantly making changes to the car, the aero forces, and everything like that. So I’m hoping that we discover something this weekend that helps us creep a little bit further forward. But in general, this has been a decent race for us. So I hope it’s the same this weekend,” he added on an optimistic note.
