Angela Cullen joined Mercedes back in 2016 and was Lewis Hamilton’s physiotherapist for 7 years up until she decided to move this year. Angela wasn’t only Briton’s coach but is also believed to be a very close friend of his. Lewis spent most of his race weekend with Cullen. Eddie Jordan explained how Lewis is a bit of a loner. He’s only close to very few people and minds his own business. Now that Angela is gone, Lewis doesn’t have that support anymore.

According to express.co.uk, Eddie Jordan said “I thought they were joined at the hip. She was so close to him, in terms of being with him and by his side. Lewis is a little bit of a loner, and I mean that in the nicest possible way. He doesn’t have an entourage around him or big groups. Generally, he minds his own business.”

According to mirror.co.uk, Nico Rosberg told skysportsf1 ” I think that probably makes things even worse because even though the split apparently was amicable, you know, Angela was a real friend I think also to him,” Hamilton is going through a hard time not winning any races in over a year.
