Lewis Hamilton is over the 9th cloud now. From the day he broke Schumacher’s record of the highest number of Grand Prix wins, the celebrations have not stopped.

He won his title of the 7th driver’s championship and helped the Silver Arrows bag their 7th constructors’ title. However, that was not the end of it.

The BBC nominated the F1 champion for a 6th time in their Sports Personality of the Year. Having already won the award in 2014 and been runners up for 4 times, Lewis expected little.

Moreover, with his competition being Liverpool FC captain, James Henderson, he did not have high hopes. Yet, destiny specializes in shocking people all the time.

BBC announced their 6-time nominee, the lad from Stevenage, Lewis Hamilton, Sports Personality of the Year 2020. Well, to his fans, it is another reason to celebrate and to him another prestigious title to his name.
