The seven-time world. Champion Lewis Hamilton was managed by his father when his career started with McLaren back in 2007. However, the working relationship ended in 2010, which shocked the whole F1 fraternity. On different occasions, the Brit has been vocal about his relationship with his father.
Hamilton once described how his father used to do multiple jobs in order to ensure that his son can reach the pinnacle of motorsports.
He said, “My dad, didn’t want me to struggle, me or my brother to struggle the way he struggled in his life. He’s like I’m gonna do everything, I can to make sure that they live a better life than I did.”
“That’s putting someone else first is a big sacrifice I think you know because we all in general rules about ourselves wanted to be happy and have fresh clothes and feel great and do great things going great holidays have money to spend and my dad was like gonna spend it all on racing and do something do this instead which is quite unusual.”
