Nearly two months after the controversial Abu Dhabi GP, Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton ended his social media exile on Saturday. In a welcome development for not only his fans but the whole F1 community, Hamilton posted a picture of himself smiling at the Grand Canyon on his Twitter and Instagram handles with a caption saying, “I’ve been gone. Now I’m back!”.

Some were still doubtful about his comeback, but his recent posts end all speculations. The Briton recently took to Instagram to share his training videos alongside personal trainer and friend Angela Cullen.

His silence gave rise to various insinuations. Many F1 insiders indicated a possible retirement for the Briton. So much so that talks of his replacement were making rounds. However, the Mercedes man has put these stories at a halt.
