Today, the Mercedes man was at it again, using social media to send out a message that inspires and motivates millions. Hamilton’s topic for his latest discourse begins with him addressing the two sides of himself.
One, Hamilton the racer, and the other, Hamilton the human. Of his first side, that everyone knows well by now, he says, “The one you see on TV. (Is) the competitive, cut-throat hungry racer in me that comes out when I close the visor.

“When my visor is down, all my fears, insecurities, and doubts are cast aside and my focus kicks in and will not break until the job is done.”
Whereas his second side is just him as any other ordinary person, “who is figuring life day by day, just like you.” A person who is trying to balance everything in his life, be that time with friends or family, or with his passions and hobbies.
He admits to having difficult days too. “Especially in the bubble that we’re currently in. You get lonely, you miss your friends and family.” But he is grateful to the ones who stand by him and help him cope with it through text, calls, or FaceTime.

Lewis Hamilton doesn’t want people to be afraid of expressing their emotions
The crux of his message is that it’s okay to tell other people what one is going through in his or her life. “It’s never a bad thing to ask for help if you need it, or tell somebody how you feel. Showing your vulnerable side doesn’t make you weak,” declares Hamilton.
Instead, opening up to others offers one an opportunity to become stronger, claims Lewis. He concludes, “I hope and pray you know you are incredible, gifted, talented, beautiful, and strong. No matter what anybody says, you can do almost anything you put your mind to.”
