Lewis Hamilton Reveals Superhero-esque Retirement Plans to “Take Over” Countries for the Greater Good

Lewis Hamilton is a role model for a lot of Formula 1 fans. He has been an outspoken supporter of sensitive issues. In addition, he has taken positive steps toward making F1 a more diverse and inclusive place for everyone.

Recently, he has spoken about what he wants to achieve in the sport as a figure of importance. He even spoke about the targets he has set himself in terms of promoting inclusivity and equality within the sport of Formula 1.

In a conversation with CNA Lifestyle, about his vision, he said, “I want to be doing something impactful – whether it’s with the companies that I’m trying to build or story-telling with movies or documentaries.”

He went on, “I want to be building up teams that are inclusive, constantly working on missions for which I plan to take over from the UK to the States as well.”

“I don’t think it’s bad to care about everything, but there’s only some things you can really focus on and really push them forward towards change.” However, he was pragmatic about this approach. “There are so many things to care about, and you can’t do everything, right?”.

This isn’t the only time he has lent his support and voice to causes of inclusion, diversity, and equality. Recently, he has been working with United Nations in this pursuit.

Lewis Hamilton is a global superstar. And with the platform that he has, the 7x Champion has chosen to highlight causes that are close to his heart. Moreover, recently, he lent his voice to the cause for the inclusion of refugee children in national education systems.

He said, “It’s not just about creating better life chances for young people, helping them to find their purpose and forge their own futures. It’s about the knock-on effects of that: greater diversity in positions of leadership and influence, in the world of work, in sport, culture, politics.”.
