The title fight for the 2021 championship has never been this intense between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. The Dutch driver had the lead in the championship race for a period of time, in the first half of the season. However, Britain’s Knight wasn’t going to give and soon found himself back on top.

The 7-times world champion reveals the mentality he and his team went through to turn around their title hopes. He acknowledges the mistakes they made this season but hopes to learn from them and come back stronger.

The Red Bull prodigy did steal the lead from Hamilton but wasn’t able to hold him off. As he stepped up his game and ensure that he regains the lead in the championship.

As quoted from Motorsport.total.com, Hamilton said, “From Monaco, it became very intense and the update worked well. We worked on our processes on the weekends and tried to get more out of the car. I think we’re much closer now. The team never gives up, we keep pushing.”
