It’s no surprise that being a successful driver at the pinnacle of motorsport gives not only fame but also attracts the top companies for sponsorships. And the seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton, is not unfamiliar with it, who recently partnered with hand sanitizer company, INEOS Hygienics.
London-based chemical giants, INEOS acquired one-third share in Mercedes alongside parent company, Daimler, and team principal, Toto Wolff at the end of last year.
And now, the Principal Partner of Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team, INEOS, has now collaborated with the current championship leader, Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton is a brilliant ambassador: George Ratcliffe
As quoted by Forbes, the son of the founder and CEO of INEOS Hygienics, George Ratcliffe, revealed why they partnered with one of the most successful drivers in Formula 1 history.

“If he misses out on a race, he misses out on championship points. Because of that, he is always sanitizing on and off track. In a sense, he’s educating all consumers on how to approach their hygiene,” added Ratcliffe.
Lewis Hamilton on partnering with INEOS Hygienics
When asked why he partnered with the chemical giants INEOS Hygienics, the reigning champion, Lewis Hamilton said, “INEOS stands out to me as they’re at the forefront of innovation and technology.
“We are in a time, today, where we see a pandemic, and a virus, and bacteria that lives on everything—for days. And, thankfully, INEOS is developing these innovations to protect us from that.”

Furthermore, the Knight admitted he is a clean freak and constantly sanitizes himself before performing any household activity.

“When I walk into my house, I have three sanitizer stations—one at the door, one in the hallway, and one in the kitchen,” said Hamilton.
“Cleanliness is really important to me. I will sanitize my hands before I eat if I’m touching anything in my kitchen or making a tea, and after I’ve been on my laptop.”

Well, he has already dominated the world of Formula 1, fashion, and music. Looks like the hygiene product industry is next on his list!
