Nostalgia is a file that removes the rough edges from the good old days. Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel’s rivalry was fierce, but the World Champions never lost the respect of each other and to this day are very good good friends. However, the seven-time world champion might’ve taken a page or two from the German book. Recently, a photo of Hamilton’s excursion to the Red Bull garage surfaced, which has left Sebastian Vettel fans drowning in Nostalgia. Sebastian Vettel was given many nicknames during his F1 career, among which Inspector was one. The German was infamous for checking out his competitor’s cars to look for any kind of advantage that his team could implement. Some of Vettel’s recent excursions were during his Bond team era when the German channeled his inner 007 and went on to examine other cars post-qualifying at the 2022 Imola GP.

Now that Sebastian Vettel has retired from the sport, it looks like his best friend Lewis Hamilton has taken over his inspector duties in the paddock. In a photo that surfaced recently on Twitter, Lewis Hamilton can be seen trespassing near the Red Bull garage. The Briton is squatting down and possibly looking at the RB19’s diffuser and the rear suspension. With the Mercedes W14 struggling for pace, any technical and tactical advantage will be welcomed, and that is exactly what Hamilton was trying to access.

However, that little excursion of Hamilton has fired social media up. With the F1 community already missing Sebastian Vettel this season, the Briton’s Vettel-esque move reminded everyone of Sebastian Vettel and fans have started bubbling up their theories about the same.
