Lewis Hamilton the Greatest F1 Driver of “His” Time : Schumacher

Lewis Hamilton is on course to take his 7th World Championship title this season. With this title, he will equal the ‘Greatest’ Michael Schumacher. However, a debate about Hamilton’s status as the G.O.A.T. still endures.
And Michael’s brother, Ralf Schumacher, is convinced that Lewis is indeed the greatest of ‘his’ time.
Ralf also felt that it was not fair to compare the two considering both the drivers drove in two different eras. But still, he offered some clarity on who is better. “People keep asking me if Lewis Hamilton is the greatest racing driver of all time,” said Ralf.

“Now that he’s breaking many of my brother’s records. My opinion: He is definitely the greatest of ‘his’ time. Just like Michael was,” said the German.
“A comparison with my brother is difficult because many factors play a role. Of course, Lewis has a mega package in addition to his brilliant talent. It’s not like Michael back then,” he said.
“But what he does with it is still great. What I particularly like about him is that he gets a lot of compromises. That he doesn’t make mistakes. So it has to be said that he is by far the best driver in the field,” said Schumacher.
Having already bagged six wins this season, Lewis leads his teammate by 55 points. The scenario of seeing him lift his 7th world championship title is looking more and more likely with each passing race.
Lewis is also looking to beat another one of Schumacher’s records. With 90 wins, Lewis is just one win away from leveling with Michael’s tally of the highest number of wins.
