Lewis Hamilton’s Father Finally Gets Payback for Viral Moment With Sergio Perez’s Dad as He Finally Returns the Favor

The recently concluded Mexican Grand Prix saw a similar incident as that of the 2022 British Grand Prix, where the proud dads embraced each other at the paddock. Lewis Hamilton’s father and Sergio Perez’s father hugged and kissed each other as their sons made them and as well as their country proud.

The 20th round of the season saw Mexico City have the same winners of the 2022 Mexican Grand Prix, as that of last year. The race results were identical both in 2021 and 2022, as Max Verstappen clinched the win, while Lewis Hamilton, and Sergio Perez, settled in for P2 and P3, respectively.

However, it was not the identical results that turned heads, but the affection between two of the proud and luckiest fathers in the world. The father duo watched in pride as their sons stood to take the honor on the podium.

While the drivers were on the podium celebrating their success, Hamilton’s father, Anthony Hamilton, returned the favor to Papa Perez. The Mercedes man’s father held Antonio Perez Garibay and kissed him on his cheek. Hamilton Sr. returned the favor to Antonio Perez when he was kissed by the Mexican during the British Grand Prix earlier this year.
