Bling around his neck and wrist, with a cap on his head, and dressed in a casual outfit, Lewis Hamilton dances to an upbeat song in what looks like a club, as Justin Bieber bobs his head along in amusement. Hamilton is not only one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time but also an avid music enthusiast and songwriter. And this particular video with Bieber has broken the internet because it contains the Briton’s unreleased music.

All professionals, be they athletes or artists, or corporate employees, need something in their life that serves as an escape from the high-pressure world of elite performance. And for Lewis Hamilton, it has always been music. He said in an interview in 2020, “Guys, I’ve spent the last 10 years or more writing and recording, working with some of the most talented and beautiful people which I’m so grateful for. It’s been the most incredible outlet.”

In an Instagram live back then, he shared some of the names of his songs and the unfinished drafts with his fans. Since then, the LH army has been eagerly waiting for him to officially release his music. And the day might finally be arriving.
